# Seasonal Events

Seasonal Events are limited-timed events that automatically start throughout the year.&#x20;

### What are Seasonal Events?

These Seasonal Events bring unique and fun mechanics with limited-time content and special rewards that can only be obtained once a year. Because of this - you should look out for the next event and grab as much special loot as possible!

### How do I check if an Event is active?

You can check if there is a Seasonal Event active by typing '/fish events'. Alternatively, you will have a notification in chat when you catch your first fish per server-restart.&#x20;

### How can I tell what an Event does?

There will be a brief description when you type '/fish events \<name>' (tab will only show active events). This will give you a brief overview of the event. You can also view the individual pages below for more in-depth information on each one.&#x20;

### Will more Seasonal Events be added?

Yes! I plan to add 7 or 8 Seasonal Events throughout the year to keep things interesting for everyone.&#x20;

### What Events are there?

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pyrotempus.gitbook.io/pyro-plugins/pyrofishingpro/features/seasonal-events.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
